Dear reporter,
We hear that you may have a scoop for us about something that would make our current tech look like sticks and stones. Or perhaps you have a story to share about magic beyond what the heart can normally believe in. We'll have you know that we only take work of a certain standard. To ensure you submission is formatted to such a degree, please make your way to the "How to Submit" section of this page.

How to Submit
- To submit your scoop to the Editors, please send it to us through our company Gmail: bakunawapress@gmail.com as a doc./docx. or pdf. attachment.

- You must indicate whether your scoop is for our fantasy zine, or our sci-fi zine. Please format the subject of your email as following: "SUBMISSION - (GENRE) - (AUTHOR/ARTIST)"

- In the body of your email, include a short, third-person bio of up to 150 words.
- As for the format of your actual submission, please follow these guidelines:
Short Stories: Maximum of 3,000 words. Times New Roman, 2.0 line spacing,12pt font.
Poetry: You can submit up to three works with the caveat that we will only be accepting one per issue.
Artwork: You can submit up to three works with the caveat that we will only be accepting one per issue.

- Simultaneous submissions are encouraged, but do let us know if your piece is accepted elsewhere.

- As for multiple submissions, please only submit more than one piece to a submission call if your first submission was rejected.

- We shouldn't even have to say this, but we don't accept bigoted or hateful writing or art. Nor do we accept works that were created using or made with the assistance of AI.​

Rights and Payment
As we are still a small press, we aren't able to offer monetary compensation to our contributors at this time, but submission are, and always will be, free of charge. Upon acceptance, we ask for First Electronic Rights with no exclusivity period. Should you wish to publish your work elsewhere after it has appeared in one of our issues, please credit Bakunawa Press as its first home.
